Hi
Enza and Paulo,
We hope this e-mail finds you and your family well. Dean
and I would like to say a very big thank you once again
for making our stay with you such an enjoyable one. We
had such a lovely time and now we are back in England,
so wish we were back in Tuscany. Our apartment was
superb and you made us so welcome. We will recommend you
to all our friends and family and look forward to coming
back very soon.
Please tell Paulo his wine is ‘the best’ and to save us
some for our next visit!
Many
thanks once again. Our best wishes to you all,
Joy
and Dean Chesterton
Dear Enza,
You must think us very rude in not emailing before, to
thank you both for a very enjoyable weeks stay. All us
us - myself, Michael, Robyn and Ian spent a very
enjoyable week seeing the stunning sights of your
country, and especially the good weather we had.
Robyn and Ian was not so lucky with the weather more
north on their second week. They are now in Sweden
experiencing colder weather and shorter day light
hours. We have been back at work almost 2 weeks now
and need another holiday.
Sorry that we did not see you before leaving, but we
had to make an early start to get to Pisa, we spent
the day their before we made out way to the airport.
A big thank you also for your kind hospitality in
taking us to the Jazz night - a lovely way to start
our holiday.
Kind regards to you and the family, for all your
kindness.

Hi
Enza, Paolo, Thommaso and Mathilde
Well
we’re back in the UK now after spending those two
glorious weeks at I Gelsi – thank you so much for your
warm hospitality and efforts. We felt very welcome and
as our fourth time staying with you, it felt like home
from home but with Sun, Great food and wonderful wine.
Ellie misses Tommy and Matti, and of course the pool
J
We
made sure that we left a few more fantastic places (Cortona
was as lovely as Paolo said it was) in Tuscany to visit
when we come again next year. And the vineyard tour is
top of the list. Those wines won’t taste themselves you
know.
I
would (and will) recommend I Gelsi to all as long as I
can get booked in next year ;)
With
all our very best wishes
John, Andrea & Ellie

Hi Enza,
Well we are now back in 15c in the UK and shivering
our boots off! Mind you, Sorrento was too hot at 32c
and as for Capri - oh dear oh dear! On that day Carol
looked at me and said - "I want to go back to Gelsi"
The town of Amalfi however was lovely and we liked
Sorrento so it was not all negative. We had a great
time in Tuscany, no doubt the highlight of our 3 weeks
in France and Italy so we hope to come back sometime.
Meanwhile, hope you are all OK and give our regards to
Paulo, Keith and Bev!!
Love, Tom and Carol
Dear Enza ,
Thank you for a great
holiday in April. We enjoyed exploring your beautiful
part of the world. Your property is very well catered
for families, We had a great time.
Thanks again, David and
Rebecca See.
Hi Enza and Paulo
We just wanted to drop a
line to say thank you for such a wonderful holiday.
On reflection we should have stayed at I Gelsi for
at least a week! Florence was beautiful but too
hot! Anyway, thanks again. We've recommended you
on Trip Advisor and will recommend I Gelsi to our
friends and family and of course, we hope to see you
again with the baby in tow next time!
Regards, Liz & Alex
Hi Enza
Just a short email to say many thanks for a truly lovely
holiday in I Gelsi last month. We all had a really
enjoyable time, and more importantly a really relaxing
week in your beautiful home. The children when given the
option of a week in the camp site or a week in your
home, said they would prefer yours anyday as they could
really relax and loved having the pool to themselves -
high praise indeed!
We plan to go back to Tuscany again next year, and maybe
you can let me know when you are accepting bookings for
Summer 2009, as we would like to pre book for a week in
July 09, in the Girasole apartment again please! (The
kids loved the upstairs bedroom!!) I am not sure what
dates the Summer term 2009 ends as of yet so cannot give
you exact dates until school starts again in September.
Please tell Paolo that we have enjoyed his delicious
olive oil many nights since we came home!
Regards, Claire
Dear Enza and Paolo,
We were sorry that we missed you yesterday morning and
were not able to say 'goodbye', but we wanted to be away
by 9.00am to get the car back and to see something of
Pisa.
Once again we want to say what a wonderful holiday we
had and how much we enjoyed our stay at I Gelsi. It is a
lovely spot in the midst of some stunning countryside.
But more than that we were made to feel so welcome, only
concerned that we might be intruding in your family
life! It was both your friendliness and the little
touches that contributed so much to our enjoyment.
We have some very good memories of Tuscany, (and some
photos!), that will help us through the winter months
and the business of everyday life.
With
best wishes and thanks,
Adrian and Sue
Hi Enza & Paolo,
We just wanted to thank you for a wonderful stay at I
Gelsi. We enjoyed it very much. It felt like home away
from home and we loved the peaceful surroundings and the
beautiful environment. Thanks for all your assistance
and advice. We wish you all the success with your
venture.
Kind Regards from a cold South Africa.

Dear Enza and Paolo,
Once again I would like to thank you for sharing your
lovely home with us (we're just back in Scotland after
spending a few days with Veronica). It was a great way
to spend my 50th birthday.
I will send you details of the cottage in Sutherland as
soon as I've worked out how to attach the photos to a
message on our new computer!
My cooking's gone all Italian, I'm off to make melon
with Parma ham and risotto with a tomato salad (using
your lovely olive oil of course)
Thanks again Kath and Collin Ainslie
Just
to say we arrived home well yesterday evening (22:30);
back again to normal belgian habits and
weather 17°,
rain all day, wearing a jeans and a sweater, drinking a
cup of hot tomato soup in the kitchen.
Quite
a difference with drinking a nice tuscan wine and eating
a piece of Pienza pecorino cheese at the terrace at
I Gelsi,
sitting in the sun or swimming in the pool or eating an
icedream at the gelateria in the village of Figline
Valdarno
Keep enjoying your tuscan home as we did last week and
have lots of nice sunny days!
Kindest
Regards,
Bob, Peggy & Phoebe
Hello Enza and Paolo
Just a note to say hello and thank you for your
hospitality during our stay with you in July. We had a
wonderful time in Europe and will return as soon as we
can afford to!
Again I must congratulate you on your web site, it says
it all and having the GPS details makes finding you a
joy. See you next time we are over, wishing you all the
best of health and happiness.
Regards from Paul and Christine Laing
Dear Enza, Paolo & Family,
We just wanted to send you a quick e-mail to say a big
thank you for making our trip to Tuscany a very
enjoyable one.
The accommodation, pool, surroundings etc were wonderful
and we will definately come back at some point in the
future.
Thank you also for your help with restaurant bookings
and directions. Your knowledge was invaluable.
With very best wishes to you all. We hope to see you
again soon,
Alan, Lisa, Hannah & Grace Beddie X
Thank
you Enza,
We have had a wonderful time. The accomodation has been
perfect and we would be very happy to recommend it to
others. It was so nice to be in the countryside after
the business of the towns and tourist places. It would
have been great to spend a little more time with you ,
and also you delightful children, but we fully
understand that you must be a very busy person. Our
normal lives are very busy, even without a family at
home to care for. We hope we will be able to stay her
again sometime.
Regards, Greg, Bronwyn and Rhys.
Good Afternoon Enza
Yes, we arrived home at 3:30 pm Sunday. We stayed in
Florence on Sat night and left our hotel room at
4:30
a. m. We are just getting back to normal here. We
enjoyed our stay at I Gelsi and hopefully will some day
return. My family truly enjoyed all of
Tuscany.
Thank you again for the hospitality. We will recommend
you to anyone who is planning a trip to
Tuscany.
Say hi to Paolo and your family for us.
Bill, Sheila, Joe and Emily
Dear Enza and Paolo,
Just to say we had a fantastic time in Italy. Where you
stay is beautiful and you made us feel very welcoming
and made everything so easy! You are very kind and
lovely people and when you come to Scotland let us know
and we will do all we can to help.
Veronica , Jamie and family xx
Hello Enza and Paolo,
We arrived back home yesterday at around 4pm having been
able to get an earlier ferry crossing than we had
booked.
Thank you again for being so welcoming and contributing
to another very enjoyable holiday. Everything about I
Gelsi makes a stay memorable. It is both the setting,
and your generous hospitality. Thank you too for the
gift of the wine, it was an unexpected bonus!
We send our best wishes to you both and to Thomaso and
Mathilde,
Adrian and Sue, (and Alyson and Howard).
Dear Enza,
My family enjoyed very much our stay in your beautiful
place, during the week we spent in
IGelsi (Toscana).
Found yours and Paolo's warm hospitality in your fully
equipped units.
We can only recommend every one to come and enjoy I
Gelsi!
In case anybody would like to contact me to get my
personal recommendation, please feel free to give my
e-mail and or my phone number (972-3-5334061), and I
shall be more than happy to give my recommendation.
Warm regards,
Dov
Hello Paolo,
Here we are, back in England again; just a quick note to
say how much we enjoyed our stay with you.
'I Gelsi' stands out as one of the special places we
visited during our trip through Italy and our stay with
you was made even more enjoyable by your friendliness
and attention, leaving us with many happy memories.
As we said during our evening together, if you and your
family our ever in our vicinity, when visiting The
Lakes, you are very welcome to stay at 'The Old House',
although this does not compare to 'iGelsi'.
Unfortunately, we were bitterly disappointed with
Sorento; not so much because of the place but because of
the attitude of the people we came in touch with. In
fact, starting from Rome, we found that the further
south we went, the ruder and less helpful the people
became, so what we hoped would be the 'holiday of a
lifetime' became rather a nightmare. However, on the
way back, both Rimini and Lake Garda were delightful as
also was the attitude of the people we met.
Thank you, once again, for making our stay in Tuscany so
enjoyable, and hoping that we may meet you in the
future.
Best Regards, Felix & Denyse Leaver.
Just to let you all know we returned safely. We had a
good flight and the sun was shining when we arrived at
Newcastle. Not as hot as in Italy but pleasant. Not sure
what tomorrow will bring. Jim is hoping it will be fine
as he is off to the golf course early in the morning.
Katie & John will be back in the air on their way to
Spain with their father.
Paul's mum--Ann--survived the flight thanks to a couple
of valium and two miniature bottles of whisky.!!!!!!!!!
She even looked out of the window as we came into
Newcastle.Who knows she might well now make up for lost
time and begin to see the world.
Josh pulled out his wiggly tooth just as we checked in
in Pisa. He apparently had hung on to it all week as he
was afraid that the tooth fairy might not visit Italy.
Jim and I would like to say a big "Thank you " to you
all for allowing us to share your beautiful home. It
really is something special and we hope you go on from
success to success.
Lots of love to you and Paolo, Thomaso, Mathilde and
your mum and dad.
Ann
Dear Enza & Paulo,
Thank you for a wonderful stay at I Gelsi. We had a
wonderful stay and you made us feel very welcome - it
was so restful. Back to work tomorrow though. Yuch!!!
I have not been along to see your parents in person yet,
as I have come back with a filthy cold and cough and
don't want to pass it on
Thank you once again - we will be recommending I
Gelsi to everyone we know!! We may see you, Enza, early
in June when you are in Brentwood.
With our very best wishes, Marion, James, Emma & Phil
